Weight Loss Help - Where Can You Get Help to Lose Weight?

So you want to lose weight, where do you start? I've started many diets without asking for help or telling anyone. I've always thought that at least if I don't tell anyone I'm trying to lose weight then when I don't lose weight I will have no one to ridicule or criticize me. I was so wrong, you need to build a support network of weight loss helpers. Where do you find weight loss help? Here's a few ideas to get you started.

Doctors - Your doctor is a great place to start, they can refer you to a dietician, they can prescribe weight loss drugs, they can also refer you to a great counselor or therapist. Yes, your weight gain is the result of mental issues you need to fix this too! This leads to my next helper.

Therapist - Therapy can help you find out the reason you've gained this weight in the first place, I guarantee once you know why you've put this weight on you will keep the weight off, you will be better equipped to understand the reasons why you gain weight.

Gyms - Join a gym, not only for the obvious reason, being exercise will of course help you lose weight, but also because you have a whole support network within the gym. You can meet people who are also trying to beat the battle you are this is great because you could arrange to work out together, keep each other motivated. You can meet people who have already won and can share their experiences with you. And of course you also have professionals who can set up plans for your weight loss and keep you on track & motivated.

Pharmacy & Chemists - Some of you may not be keen on prescription medications for weight loss, try speaking with your pharmacist to see what they recommend. Most chemists & pharmacies have a range on weight loss products on offer from fat metabolisers to shake diets.

Friends & Family - You should always tell your closest friends & family what your try to achieve as they can support you, for example if your meeting for lunch your friend may agree to eat at a healthier restaurant, they can't do this if they don't know what you're doing. Don't even think that you just won't see your friends while you're trying to lose weight, you'll be miserable without your social life & your diet will fail. Have any of your friends or family recently lost weight? Ask them what they did, they could be your weight loss coach.

So there you go, there are just a few ideas on where to get weight loss help.
